Terms of Service


Welcome to the Globetrotter Website


Welcome to the website of Globetrotter Industrial Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “Globetrotter”). These Terms of Service govern the use of the Globetrotter website at http://www.globetrotter.com.tw (hereinafter referred to as the “Service”).


By completing the membership registration process or beginning to use the Service, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to all the contents of these Terms of Service, and you fully accept all existing and future services and features provided by Globetrotter.


Globetrotter reserves the right to modify or update these Terms of Service at any time. Any revisions will be posted on the website without individual notification to members. Members are advised to review these terms periodically. Continued use of the Service after any changes are posted shall constitute acceptance of such modifications. If you do not agree to the revised terms, or any provision herein, you should immediately discontinue using the Service.


Both members and Globetrotter agree that all communications, including expressions of intent related to the use of the Service, may be conducted through electronic documents.


If you are under the age of 20, please review these Terms of Service with your parent or legal guardian and obtain their consent before completing any purchases or engaging in transactions on this website.


1. Use of Member Information in Accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act


To ensure the protection of members’ personal data, privacy, and consumer rights, Globetrotter may collect and use personal information during transactions in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA). In compliance with Article 8 of the Act, the following matters are hereby disclosed:

Personal data is collected for purposes including:

  • Marketing operations

  • Consumer and customer management and services

  • Online shopping and other e-commerce services

  • Surveys, statistics, and research analysis


(The statutory purpose codes include 040, 090, 148, and 157.)


Globetrotter collects personal data through membership registration and transaction processes.


Categories of Personal Data Collected


The personal data collected by Globetrotter may include:


(1) C001 – Identification of Individuals

Name, address, telephone number, email address, and other identifying information.


(2) C002 – Financial Identification

Credit card information or bank account details.


(3) C011 – Personal Description

Information such as gender and date of birth.


Period, Region, Recipients, and Methods of Use


(1) Period

Until the member requests termination of use or until Globetrotter ceases providing the Service.


(2) Region

Member personal data will be used within Taiwan.


(3) Recipients and Methods of Use

Personal data may be used for purposes including:

  • Membership and customer management

  • Identity verification

  • Payment processing

  • Logistics and delivery services

  • Marketing and promotional communications


Members’ Rights Regarding Personal Data


Under the Personal Data Protection Act, members whose personal data is collected by Globetrotter have the right to:

  1. Request access to or review their personal data

  2. Request copies of their personal data

  3. Request supplementation or correction

  4. Request suspension of collection, processing, or use

  5. Request deletion of personal data


Members who wish to exercise the above rights may contact Globetrotter customer service.


Please note that if a member refuses to provide necessary information required for registration, it may result in the inability to use certain services or access the Service entirely.


2. Membership Registration, Account, Password, and Security


To use this Service, members agree to the following:


Members must provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and may not register using another person’s identity. Each member may register only one account and duplicate registrations are not permitted.


Members must maintain and promptly update their personal information to ensure its accuracy and completeness.


If a member provides incorrect, false, or incomplete information, fails to provide required information, or registers multiple accounts, Globetrotter reserves the right to suspend or terminate the member’s account without prior notice and refuse access to the Service in whole or in part.


Upon completion of the registration process or the first purchase on the Globetrotter website, the member will obtain a unique account and password.


Members are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality and security of their account and password. Any activity conducted using a member’s account and password will be deemed as conducted by the member, regardless of whether the member personally entered the login information.


Members shall bear full responsibility for all actions conducted under their account.


If a member becomes aware that their account or password has been compromised or any other security issue has occurred, they must immediately notify Globetrotter.


Members should log out of their account after each session.


Membership accounts, passwords, and rights are for personal use only and may not be transferred, lent, or shared with others.


If an account or password is misused or used by unauthorized persons, Globetrotter shall not be liable for any resulting damages unless such damages are directly attributable to Globetrotter.


If Globetrotter becomes aware that an account has been fraudulently used by another party, Globetrotter may immediately suspend the account and any associated transactions.


3. Member Privacy Policy


Member registration and other specific personal data are protected and governed by Globetrotter’s Privacy Policy.


4. Changes to Service Content and Distribution of Newsletters or EDM


Members agree that Globetrotter may modify, add, reduce, or terminate services or service content based on operational requirements without individual notice.


Globetrotter may also modify, suspend, or terminate promotional activities as necessary and will notify members using appropriate methods.


Members agree that Globetrotter may periodically send newsletters, promotional messages, or product information (EDM) to the email address registered by the member.


If a member indicates that they do not wish to receive such marketing communications, Globetrotter will cease sending promotional messages.


5. Suspension or Interruption of the Website Service


Globetrotter will maintain the normal operation of the Service using reasonable technology and methods. However, Globetrotter reserves the right to suspend or interrupt the Service under the following circumstances:

  • Necessary maintenance or construction of website communication equipment

  • Unexpected failure of electronic communication equipment

  • Suspension of electronic communication services applied for by Globetrotter

  • Natural disasters or force majeure events

  • Any other circumstances not attributable to Globetrotter that prevent the Service from operating


6. Transaction Notes


When members use the Service to conduct transactions, they must follow the product quantity and pricing confirmation mechanisms provided by Globetrotter.


Members agree that when placing orders through the Service, Globetrotter retains the right to refuse or cancel orders prior to confirming the transaction.


After a member submits an order, the system will automatically send an order receipt notification. However, this notification does not constitute confirmation of the order. Globetrotter will separately notify the member once the transaction is confirmed.


If errors occur in the product specifications, descriptions, images, or other transaction conditions, Globetrotter reserves the right to reject the order within two business days after the order is placed.


If members repeatedly cancel orders, request returns or exchanges arbitrarily, or engage in conduct that causes operational difficulties or damages to Globetrotter, Globetrotter reserves the right to refuse transactions or permanently terminate membership.


For orders involving:

  1. Pre-order items, or

  2. Out-of-stock items


If the order cannot be fulfilled due to supply limitations, Globetrotter will notify the member via the most appropriate method, primarily email, supplemented by telephone, mail, or fax if necessary.


Members are entitled to exercise their rights under the Consumer Protection Act when conducting transactions through this Service.


In the event of any dispute regarding these Terms of Service related to consumer transactions, the interpretation shall favor the consumer.


7. Limitation and Exclusion of Liability


All functions provided by this Service are offered “as is” based on the current conditions of the system.


Globetrotter makes no express or implied warranties regarding:

  • Performance

  • Speed

  • Completeness

  • Reliability

  • Security

  • Accuracy


Globetrotter does not guarantee that the website, servers, domains, or emails transmitted through the Service are free from computer viruses or other harmful components.
